Wilma's Little Free Library

"Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching." 1 Timothy 4:13

Wilma's Little Free Library is part of the Little Free Library network, the goal of which is to inspire readers and expand book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes. The FBCP Little Free Library is named for a lifelong member or our church family, Wilma Guy, who was an avid reader and follower of Christ. In Wilma's honor, members place books in the Little Free Library box which is located near the front entrance of our church. Anyone is welcome to take a book from the box at any time. Readers are also welcome to share books, but we do ask that they be moral and family friendly in content. Any materials that do not meet this criteria will be promptly removed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Wilma's LFL Dedication

Wilma's Little Free Library was dedicated on July 31, 2022.

The box purchased to house Wilma's Little Free Library came unfinished and so we needed someone with artistic talent to make it eye catching as well as weatherproof. What a blessing to have Bill Stewart, a very talented member of the FBCP family, who was able and willing to get the box ready for installation and use.

Our Sweet Wilma Guy

Wilma's generosity made the LFL possible. Her bequest to the church has been such a blessing.

Wilma was the most loyal patron of the FBCP Library, so it seemed appropriate to name this outreach in her honor. We believe that she would have been happy that her love of reading is being passed on to her community.

Books to Share

You'll find books for all ages in the LFL. Everyone is welcome to take or share a book.

Bill Stewart created and painted the attractive design that adorns the back and both sides of the box, making it both inviting and welcoming! Great job, Bill! Thank you for always being willing to share your time and talent!
